William Ruto lauds losers in nominations to back winners

UDA Party leader William Ruto applauded a number of aspirants who were seeking the United Democratic Alliance tickets but lost during the concluded primaries.

Earlier this week, DP William Ruto met with the Nominated senator Isaac Mwaura who lost the Ruiru nomination. Ruto said that Mwaura will now lead the Kenya Kwanza Alliance Presidential campaign team in Kiambu county.

DP William Ruto lauded Halima Abdul for agreeing to support Musa Sirma who won the nomination. Halima was running for the Eldama Ravine Parliamentary seat and accepted the outcome after she lost. He described her as a true democrat.

 

Ruto also praised Jackson Kiptanui, Daniel Rono, and Archbishop Shadrack for agreeing to support Gideon Kimaiyo, the UDA nominee for MP Keiyo South.

The leaders from Elgeyo Marakwet were led by Senator kipchumba Murkomen to the DP’s official residential home in Karen, Nairobi.

Ruto met with the UDA aspirants who were contesting for the Nyeri Town Constituency ticket.

He thanked Esther Ngima, Stanely Wabandi, Wanyaga Gathaka, Regina Muthoni, Deborah Wangui and David Kariuki for conceding defeat to support Duncan Maina Mathenge, who is the winner.
